And just like that, another month has passed! Our little guy is now THREE months old. I continue to be amazed at his every little move. His smile has crept into his eyes…and when he opens that big mouth and giggles at you, there’s nothing better. Just this week he learned how to roll over (yay! milestone!) although its caused a minor setback in the sleep department. Something about waking up on your tummy seems scary?! We’ve also started to notice our hands and what they can do! He’s bating at his play gym and his toys which is so fun to watch. I can almost see the wheels in his mind moving…so much newness and adventure to experience!

Happy three month birthday, little man! We sure do love you!

Missing the weekend already! We spent lots of time at Granny & Pops house, including a Friday night cookout for Cal’s big 25th birthday. Then there were doughnuts (of course…) on Saturday morning followed by lots of time lounging around. Another perfect weekend surrounded by the people I love most.

Happy Monday! We’ve had a busy weekend with sis, the godfather and uncle E in town! Lots to do this week as we prepare for our trip to London and celebrate three months with Bridger:)

One of the best weekends of the year!! The last few days we’ve been down in Austin for the Derby. We had the most amazing time. We always do. I never can quite put weekends like these into words. K&T and J.S  are the most wonderful hosts and make us feel part of something incredibly special. The group of people that gather are sweet and silly, close-knit yet so very welcoming! We laughed at old stories and giggled about how much has changed over the years. Little Steely is so much bigger and Bridger wasn’t even around last year! (You can see last year’s adventures here and here). Missing this weekend already.

Another low key weekend. One beautiful day and one very rainy day. We took a few family walks, enjoyed a dinner out with friends, helped the Deals move in just two street away (yay for friends that live close!), started work on our sunroom, and watched some movies curled up on the couch. It sure was nice.

It’s hard for me to believe that this little guy is already two months old! Where in the world is the time going? We’re having so much fun getting to know him…his sweet little sounds and faces just make us melt! This month marked our first real smile as well as the start of a pretty good feeding and sleeping schedule (down at 10pm, up once to eat at around 3am-4am, then up at 7am for the day). We’re learning that he loves long walks and spending time in the front pack. He’s also starting to find his hands, which makes me think that thumb sucking is sure to be in his future! Like his dad he has the sweetest temperament, only becoming fussy if he’s dirty or tired. He really does make this whole parenting thing pretty darn fun!

Happy two month baby boy! We love you to pieces!

Tomorrow this girl comes home and our little one couldn’t be more excited to see his auntie!

This past weekend we headed down to Bainbridge, Ohio with our friends S&N. S’s parents have an amazing home there which we’ve always loved visiting. There’s something  to say about the serenity of a small Ohio town. It was wonderfully peaceful and the perfect place for Bridger’s first hike! Funny how much can change in a year – photos from our first trip to Seven Caves here. A little over a year later – we’re hiking with a little one and S&N have one on the way!

What a beautiful weekend! It’s finally starting to feel like Spring around here and we couldn’t be more excited! We spent the last few days catching up on things around the house and spending as much time as we could outside. Lots of family walks and patio time…it was the best.

These two sure know how to make a girl happy. Love them.
